i love books and ideas on creative thinking. years ago in a training session someone recommended a book called a whack on the side of the head by roger von oech. it came at a great time for me and changed the way the team i was part of then approached planning and ideas. we used to talk of being 'whacked' inspired by this little book. other writers at the time who also got us thinking in different directions were edward de bono and tom peters.
well the world has changed and i have discovered that roger von oech is now blogging (and has published several other books or card sets since - i think i'll order a card set - looks like fun for planning meetings) as is tom peters. so if you like that sort of thing keep an eye on their blogs ...
i liked the idea that every right idea is eventually the wrong idea. it applies in lots of areas of life, culture and change.
what ideas that were once right have now become wrong? (answers in the comments please)
Thanks for mentioning my blog: Creative Think. Much appreciated! I've enjoyed poking around your site -- a lot of good stuff!
Best wishes to you and your readers!

I am not quite sure but the Church used to condemn people who had committed suicide. Now it doesn't. It seemed right, now it proves wrong. Is that the kind of example you think of.
A Belgian monk - but he won't be the only one - BenoƮt Standaert believes the paradox is the source of wisdom. I think he is 'damn right'. You could say for example : the Church needs to be very strict on principles but then it needs to be very 'lenient' or forgiving in practice, etc. .
